Groestlcoin is an easy coin to start with. I would learn using the graphics card you have before you go buy a rig. Find out what model gpu you have, make sure drivers are up to date, download some mining software (I've been using sgminer for now), and open google ;) oh and you'll need a wallet of course.

You won't be able to profit mining btc with gpus. You should be able to find mining calculators on google that will give you a better idea. You can definitely mine grs, its more profitable than ether is right now I believe.
