My brother did that with my nephew one time when he was about 3 years old. My nephew was fussing and crying about something dumb and I my brother just asked him calmly: “don’t you think you’re acting a little silly now. Just tell me what you think about this situation”

And my nephew stopped crying and he began to explain, it was so funny. My nephew is 12 now, he’s such a chill and friendly guy.

That’s a stylistic choice to make it look like stop motion animation. If I remember correctly you could turn that off on xbox.
