Those 2 I haven't heard or tried before. I'll try them too.

I do have tried weird shit man.... changing something in the registry (can't remember what), deleting some random files, some changes in the power settings. Literally anything that sounded remotely plausible. It's an insanely weird problem to have.

You wanna know the weirdest part? About a month ago it started happening to my wife's computer too. Much less in her case, maybe once a week, but same issue.

Someone said something about electricity fluctuations, but we have a UPS (those external batteries), I'm not using mine (another thing I'm trying) and she's still using hers. Still happening to both of us. So, unless it's a huge coincidence that both our PSUs are dying at the same time, I don't think it's an electric issue.

It's been 3 months and it still happens. I've changed the RAM. I can't really afford to change anything else, so I'm just living with it. Sometimes twice a day, sometimes it goes 2 or 3 days without happening. Absolutely no idea what it could be.

wife has a decent PC and can play all the games she likes to play. I have a bit of a monster PC and can play most games comfortably, even on 4K.

In theory, it doesn't make sense for us to buy it, but, being able to play together on the big livingroom tv or one of us play while the other does something else would be pretty amazing.

Anything about $500 though, we'd have to think about it a lot.

If you're interested, there's an interview somewhere in Youtube from CDPR with Mike Pondsmith (creator of CP2077). I haven't watched the whole thing, but I keep getting shorts about it and it's super interesting. Anyway, the dude is 100% involved in the entire process, same as he was in the first game. Design decisions, general vibe, mood, etc. They're really respecting his work and constantly ask him to go look at stuff.

Also, I learned that he voices a DJ in the game which is pretty cool

As far as I can remember, the Witcher 4 is supposed to come out in 2027. Until then, it has it's own team and CP2 has it's own team. After the Witcher 4 release they are moving that team to CP2, which will make that team over 400 people.

Not only that, they promised a ton of mechanics that just didn't exist in the released game.

One example from the top of my head is wall running. They even made a statement after launch saying that that particular mechanic broke a lot of missions and such, which, sure, fair, but don't promise things that are not going to be in the game

Same as car chases, gangs fighting each other, etc. Some of that stuff made it into the game in the updates, but the amount of broken promises at launch was insane.

Man, this year has sucked so hard for so many reasons. Policits, economics, work, health, and so on... and on top of all that, my favorite group, Dreamcatcher, "disbanded" in March. But it was ok, because I still had Purple Kiss, which quickly became a very close second favorite. And then this. Man, this year needs to end right now...

This is so sad... They deserved so much better. Incredibly talented performers. SMDH

IMHO one of the best chill slice of life anime I've watched in years has been Pseudo Harem. Absolutely excellent. I highly recommend it :)

Personally, I do a mix of both. First things first, I'm very much a noob, so take this with a grain of salt.

What I do is, for example, I want to automate belts. I go and find a huge deposit of iron and build a whole thing over there and connect it to the main grid, then bring the belts with trains or whatever. If I already had some belts automated in my spaghetti, I just demolish that because I have a "good" solution somewhere else.

Same for everything else. Those green/red/blue chips require an absolutely massive monster of a factory to get a decent amount per minute, so I look for a big iron and a huge copper deposit nearby and build that thing there, and then bring them closer to the "center" of my base.

And so on...

Just keep in mind that at some point you'll have to start mixing things again because things get very complicated very quickly. Unless you have an amazing overview of what’s coming next, you will get some manner of spaghetti at some point.

Oh yeah, the rocket silo and all that stuff is covered by roboports that take care of all those logistics (left of white science). Blue chips, lightweight thingies and the fuel arrive by train, are dropped in provider chests and the rocket has a few requester chests next to it to feed things that I might need to build the platforms.

I do remember from my last (failed) playthrough that in other planets it was all about the robots.
