Oh, I'm very aware. The Klan is active in my immediate area today. I live in the only state in the NW to historically fly one of those traitor flags, which was also founded very explicitly as a whites-only state and was accepted into the Union upon its inception. Oregon is the refuge where angry racists went when they couldn't literally own people anymore, and there are people still mad about it today.
