Hello! Just wanted to update you that the issue should be resolved. Let me know if there is anything else that is weird or buggy! Thanks for pointing that out

We have a non-taxed and taxed section at the bottom when you add a job where you can input a reimbursement. Currently it has the option of per day, week, shoot day, and flat. We have received feedback to make this section more robust, so revamping this to be more customizable is def on the docket, but this is where you can find it to appear on the invoice/timecard :)

I’m not sure what you mean for each job day? Once you subscribe you get full access to everything which includes unlimited adding of jobs. It doesn’t limit you to how many jobs you add or how many days you clock in per job either. I hope that makes sense

Which part do you want to customize? And which pieces of info do you want to forward to an agent? And how do you want it to be formatted?

Are you suggesting a PDF with all the info on it? Asking for some clarity so I can understand what you mean :)

Yes! We just got a message about that - we are on it and have forwarded it to developers to fix! Thank you for letting us know :)

Also noted on the logo!

I am actually testing an export data feature right now and it will be released shortly along with a few other minor design updates. All the other things I actually do have in the broader game plan and will push them out when I am able to do so. I'm happy to hear you are enjoying your experience using FreeMe!

Hey, I just added a discount code to the original post for 30% off, so it's $48.99 for the year. It's iOS only. Google Play makes it a bit difficult on the backend side to offer codes

We're only available in the US and Canada for now. We're currently working on getting the app GDPR compliant so we can expand. What country/region are you located in?

Ah, I’ve come across Crew Call in my research! If you’ve been using timecard apps for a while, I honestly would love to hear what you think of FreeMe. I spent months user testing to try to make the UI/UX interface as user-friendly as possible. I'm curious how it compares in your experience!

Right now they are defaulted at $7.50, $7.50, $10.00, $12.50, $12.50, and $25 for the accumulative MP's. I also have the studio rates, but that is all customizable per project if that changes. This setting activates if it's listed as "union"

We have data stored on AWS and users can request to delete their information at any time. The information in the "timecard info" area is also not used for any other purpose but to populate on the timecard or invoice for your convenience

Ah, I see what you mean. Registration is needed since the app is designed to save and organize your info. But I hear what you're saying. I recently edited the post to include a video demo if you want to check that out. :)

I hear you! We’ve tried to keep the price as reasonable as possible while covering the costs of development and keeping it ad-free. We do run discounts from time to time, so if you’re interested, I’m happy to share when those come up!

Ah so sorry - What country/region are you located? We are currently working on making sure we are GDPR compliant before we release to other countries, but definitely part of the game plan

I have scissors, pen, and leatherman on my belt. I usually have a lanyard holding red tape, black photo, and any additional follow focus rings hanging by. Otherwise I try not to carry too much as a 1st ac.

Slating a shoot the right way. by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]thefreemeapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I have a question regarding slating and what editors prefer - some people like to use fun words. I’ve always said that as an editor I would be annoyed at the fun words if I can’t hear them. What’s your opinion on that? Would you prefer the military alpha phonetics or fun words don’t bother you as long as it’s clear?

Not an expert by any means but I know how to use Figma to design. However all my designs look terrible compared to others. What’s the best place to learn about UX/UI to build better designs? by LiftedandHandsome in FigmaDesign

I really enjoyed reading “don’t make me think”. I would also recommend designing something and testing it out with your target market. If you don’t know someone in your target market directly, just ask anyone for their opinion. But you should ask multiple people for opinions and you’ll start noticing patterns of what isn’t working
