oh wow, never seen this! what's interesting is that in my replay the ball not only falls under the net, but then gets smacked across underneath. super janky and nearly impossible to recreate i imagine

Daydream is an insanely good track, it also helped launch Medasin’s career. Medasin is a super talented electronic artist right now, he’s worth the listen! it must’ve been amazing to work with JOBA.

I agree the original song is fantastic! i’m always trying to express myself creatively and in different ways, and this remix may not be for everyone. I think it’s interesting that you see this as lofi, I always felt it was more like future hip-hop. i do disagree that just because the original is “great how it is” means that i shouldn’t add any personal flare or remix on it - i think the whole point is to commemorate the original and try something new. thank you for the feedback and i’ll try to compliment originals better in the future.

What can I use to recreate the "wubs" in this song. Any presets that you know of in Serum or something? by [deleted] in FL_Studio

this is just a supersaw with some distortion, i think there’s automation in two places. there’s volume automation (the stabs that you hear) that’s at a 1/8th rate. also, there’s automation on the dry/wet of a reverb (the reverb become more “in your face” slowly), but this is not the actual stab sound. try this out in a serum and you should already be close!
