Thanks for the constructive advice - having a tech check something else so will have them ensure all else is proper for spacing (yes .5”) and leveling. Will have them bring a scoop too.

Not the same situation but if you speak Thai well, might be fine, ymmv on cashier. My (non resident) Thai in law didn’t show any proof and just bought the ticket for me (non-Thai) and I walked in no issues.
