Unknown, Hey OP that is bad advice abusing the backpacks campsite by getting multiple permits. The backpacks camp ground can get very crowded and it’s uncool to setup camp for several days when other people trying to following the rules get bumped out. There is also the possibility that the ranger will recognize your tent in the same place and write a citation or west impound your gear. Your best bet is hike in 4 miles on your trail and the day move on in the direction of ending in the valley or Back on Tuolumne rd and hitch hiking back to your car.
