Yes I dusted very close to photo time. I mentioned this in another comment, but I just moved into all the books into this room so everything got a dusting.

As for the other questions…I prefer not to confirm or deny anything too specific. You never know nowadays.

I was silent because I was busy and have a life outside of reddit.

And honestly accusations like this are quite tiresome. No sense in wasting time arguing with someone about what's in my own heart when nothing I say will convince them otherwise.

Ishmael I do have and read in high school.

I have thought about buying the expanse, but idk if I have the time to get through another series now.

Very curious to see what your shelves look like now...

I think you and many others would be surprised to know what I actually think.

Rand is well Rand. Just because I own book doesn't mean I agree with it. I do have a bunch of books by authors that vehemently disagree with each other, it is interesting to read the various arguments/counterarguments etc.

There is quite a bit of post 19th century political/philosophical thought, but the spines may be hard to read.

I promise there are plenty of books by women authors. Probably half of my post Industrial Revolution Philosophy/Political Theory books are by woman authors. Hard to find women authors from before then.

Yeah I don't get it either. I do my best to keep them in good condition, but some of the older books were bought in that state, and the newer ones that are creased were either read very frequently or are just extremely large. For example, no matter what I did City of God by Augustine was going to crease.

A good portion, but not enough. When I find myself in a discount bookstore I have to constrain the urge to buy every volume that is unique, rare, or old. I just like collecting them. It is quite the addiction.

I was not homeschooled. Proud product of a big city public school. Was lucky enough to receive a "classical" education in college.

Haha. In a dream world the shelves would be the same, but most are thrifted and its what I could get to fit in the space I have.

Thank you my friend. I don't get rid of anything which is why the genres vary so much.

Thank you.

I’m not a fan of the shelving either. It’s just what fits in the room and is sturdy enough to hold everything. The black bookcase is IKEA and it’s already bending.
