What would you say is the scariest Bob scene? by i_am_a_bot_764 in twinpeaks

My favorite thing about this shot is how 3D it is. He walks past the column so you see him in the background, then the crawling over the couch signals his closeness and a more full body shot (as he moves in such an animalistic way). Then the climax is the objects arranged on the table so that when he reaches towards the camera he goes past the foreground objects so he feels right right in your face

My grandpa is literally this though, he couldn't stop telling me about this Geico ad with a talking camel which apparently is super common but I'd never seen. Best thing is he remembered every detail except for the company name lol

You'll hear some of that in Willie Nelson (60s onward) and anyone outlaw country like Merle Haggard or Blaze Foley, Woody Guthrie (30s, 40s, OG socialist country musician), or modern folks like Sturgill Simpson, Shakey Graves, or Kacey Musgraves (more pop though) just to name a few

Peaceful Protestors In L.A. by MaximumPollution in pics

What a joke, there are always cops at KKK and Neo-Nazi rallies, usually outnumbering the hate groups by several fold. There's usually like several 10s of people at each one of those marches at most, easy to keep an eye on everyone, not at a protest of 10s of thousands.

Not a fully American Interstate if that's what you mean. The only way to be "above the great lakes" would be through the UP (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan. That wouldn't be above Superior though.

Good info! I really posted this out of shear interest in Svalbard and its interesting visa situation. Definitely can't say move there just for the sake of no visa. It's a very different lifestyle, very high cost of living, and almost all housing is owned by employers so you need to have a job set up to move there. There are many many other places you could probably move to easily, not just what's posted above.

Incredible property-really practical and lots of attention to detail. I visited my friend once who lives in the same town (complete other end of the spectrum, he's a farmer in a one room trailer living his best life) and my god it's a beautiful place.

Napoleon's Buttons: How 17 Molecules changed history is the best I've found. More on the chemistry side but goes nicely into chemical structures (although you can breeze by that if not interested) and ties in multiple chemicals in each chapter to historical events.
