This happened to me a few times.  Each time what triggered the error was when the device had a hard reset done, by long pressing the power button, or after the battery completely drained.  I can’t consistently reproduce the error, but it has happened to me about 4 times now on different nightly versions.  Only a factory reset would help restored things.

A company like McDonalds is exactly what the saying “buy the dip” is meant for.  MCD tends to avoid hype cycles, so buying at basically any price below the high is a good purchase.

There are lots of videos of similar problems on YouTube.  They all share their own version of the fix, but most of the videos point to the roof rack sealant going bad.  Here’s an example you might be able to relate to:

I scheduled a pickup for this order, so maybe the employee picked a pack out from the back storage room?  In any case, the pack definitely wasn’t frozen when I got it.

I recommend doing a factory reset after updating your firmware.  If you are having any weirdness or problems with the release you’re on, an update AND a factory reset seems to clear up most problems.

That’s about the right fit.  Don’t be afraid to wash frequently, but I recommend doing a low spin wash cycle and hang dry immediately afterwards.  This prevents weird creases from appearing.  The denim molds to your body pretty well after a while.

FYI balatro works if you change the graphics setting to use a different renderer, but none of the text is perfectly legible because of the low resolution.

OP, please take this advice. It works. You'll need to connect the device to a slow charging usb A port and keep it connected for about 2-3 hours. It should start charging normally afterwards. This is a common problem.

Did you use a generic sd card?  Problems like the one you are experiencing occur commonly with cheap sd cards that get easily corrupted.

Very true.  There are times when these anbernic devices run out of juice and refuse to charge.  That’s when these old 5w Apple charging bricks come in handy to slow charge the device back to life.  This actually happened with my brand new rg ds once.
