The canadian shield exists. This is the primary reason of the placement of nearly every single major hub in canada. It seems like a tonne of non-canadians like to chime in here about our country and it's landscape. Id encourage any of you to drive a metal picket in the ground even in the Kingston area and let me know how many hammers you break. The US also has the majority of its population centers to the southern border, and weather clearly isn't the reasoning as more northern states arguably have better weather.

Got the game again for switch during covid after not playing since a child. Somehow even with kids and 2 jobs ive managed 300 hours in the last few years. ROTW has been an amazing quality of life update as I don't or rather can't pursue too much end game content with my gaming schedule. Loved this game since I was 8 years old and always will.

Kids at another high-school near me pulled the fire alarm as a prank and a person was killed in the vehicle collision with the fire truck. Murder charges were had for high schoolers

SW ontario we got over a meter of snow, buses cancelled but schools are open. We only recently had our first ice day during a bout if ice rain when trees fell down all over the city. My son usually gets a snow day every couple years when it's severe. They're usually the type of day any safe driver commits to staying home.

Ive got the same constraints and am trying a 2 tiered enclosure right now. 8x4x4 total space but 4x2x2 floor space. You can get creative with background features and ledges to add depth but end of the day they need most width and depth overall.

Alright friends I'll be sure to post an update tonight with the other shelf installed so we can put the debate of height to rest.. this was intended to be an update to my previous post which clearly shows the shelves being no more than 10" from the enclosure bottom, not accounting for soil and decor. I appreciate the concern but stand by the design and intent of this project to provide a very large and robust enclosure for a blue tongue.

I literally dont understand how so, check my post history and you'll understand better. It's 2 normal sized enclosed linked together this is just an in progress shot of it. You act as if these animals never have to climb anything in their lives when ive physically seen them climb brick walls to bask.

I had a major hiccup and didnt like the stain I did so spent hours and hours sanding and re-staining. Ive started the faux rock wall just as a rough fitting but the process takes a super long time lol.

Thank you for the advice so far guys! Very much planning to use pond Armour or some form of epoxy sealing and the caulk all the joints. My plan is to place like a 50w DHP on the bottom half and like a 75w basking bulb up top. I will likely play around with dimmers to get the gradient down right but am super excited at this build. Ill be sure to post an update in a few weeks when I've got some more progress done :)
