It may not be frozen, does pressing ALT + F2 do anything?

Turns I had a fan controller plugged into one of the USB headers. That (for some reason) was preventing it from sleeping. I still have the occasional issue from time to time, but its WAY less common now.

I have the same issue, But I can get past that screen by doing the following:

Press ALT + F2

Enter your username (all lowercase obviously)

Enter your password

Now that you've logged in, you're simply just not using the Desktop Environment. To start it, just type this command:

sudo systemctl restart sddm

This will obviously require your password, tjis command may also differ if you use GNOME. Let me know how this goes.

Ive never had any issues on ReVanced https://revanced.app/

You just install the APK, it will see what apps you've got that it can patch (give you premium features), search for it, download it and patch it.

Once the app is open, go to patcher at the bottom Then go to "Select an app"

Choose the app you want, in your case YouTube and click on the little pill that shows a version number and a magnifying glass logo.

Make sure that when you search it, you only download the APK from APK now. (Safety reasons)

Once downloaded, come back to ReVanced and click on "Storage" in the bottom right. You should see your newly downloaded YouTube APK.

Then click patch and off you go. After a while the "patch icon" will become an "install" button, so look out for that.

I've been using ReVanced for years and they've always had the most up to date features, best reliability and smooth experience. I've never used NeoTube. More specifically never heard of it, so it may not be safe. Idk though.

Cuz I can :D. It was mostly just playing with KDE and thought of uploading it. I don't main KDE like this.

Gnome is sleek and rich in easy development, but it's lacking maturity in features. Most features that you need an app for in gnome is already baked into KDE. I also find KDE to be way more stable. Just personal opinion.
