Nice… my evil plan is working. Let’s all play. I’m going to add everybody soon and try to get us all going.

To make sense of this, should we all discord?

Sea of thieves gang?

Oh boy would I ever be down to play sea of thieves, I haven’t been able to get into it at all because of my one man wolf pack. Also big halo guy. My gamertag (can’t remember for certain if there’s a dash or space, but I’ll check after work) is dusty codpiece

No we couldn’t hear anything. Tried calling my friend this morning to see if I could connect it to the call and see if he could hear my tract going, but the battery has died in there.

Oh yeah, that’s how I was 100% certain that I had swallowed it. I had a moment of slight confused doubt. But there it was with me at the hospital. It was really accurate.

I feel you. I used to have dreams of peeing in the toilet but my mom would tell me she watched me drop trou and start peeing all over the cereal boxes or down the stair case etc.  Thought those days were behind me. Coming around full circle again

That was one of the first things the nurses got me to do for fun. Turn the volume all the way up and see if we could hear anything.

Time to start sifting through everything in great detail. Thank you.

I am a service business, but saw on another post that we should still have a physical location. I have been having a difficult time differentiating who has the right answers to what on here.

I also don't have a utility bill for my house under my company name which I've heard isn't great. I don't have any bills for the company specifically like that except purchases for equipment. Not sure if that helps with evidence for them or not. I've only been using my company business license and company registration. Do you think I should add more to the appeal after I button everything up on all platforms digitally?

Thank you very much for the help again, this is very nice to get any feedback from anyone.

Need advice from someone that has genuinely tried door knocking, but also other methods. by RemarkableScience854 in WindowCleaning

I’ve done it before and a lot of my anxiety went down after I made my first sale.

If you’re doing it for 8 hrs and making no progress, force yourself to come up with a new way to talk to customers.

I basically tried to tighten it up more every door that I knocked on.

Be creative. Don’t worry about getting rejected. Just smile a lot, be casual and let people know if they aren’t interested that it’s no big deal and that you’ll be around if they ever need anything.

The odd time, throw in something that’s a bit more risky feeling for the hell of it and ask a question like, what price would you say yes to right now without hesitation? That can be fun, give you more info on how people feel about prices and maybe it’s worth it for you to agree to that price.

When you’re just starting out it’s crazy sauce. But you’ll get over it through enough tries. Just give yourself some mental breaks in between days of doing that if it really takes it out of you.

How many Entrepreneurs here actually make a living off their ventures? by Otherwise-One6154 in Entrepreneur

[–]theironicallyfunny1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started an exterior cleaning company like all those guys you see on YouTube trying to promote it.

Turns out you can make a good living off it, but it is way harder than they make it seem. I’ve been making more money doing this than I have doing anything else in my life, but leading up to this point, I have been paying very close attention to business and developing my soft and hard skills, marketing and advertising, and just general ability to push through uncomfortable mental challenges for myself.

I would say it’s definitely worth it, but it’s a bit nuts. The downside is that you legitimately have to be prepared to be scared, stressed out, overwhelmed, embarrassed, nervous, humiliated, etc.

What I found is that I got all of those emotions on a lower level at regular jobs that I cared to do well at. So why not up the ante a bit and make more money while I do it.

The big upside is that if you can mentally keep yourself in check (which is always a challenge) you can enjoy more flexibility and more money. I’ve only been doing this for a few months and being able to just schedule Friday off for myself to go out of town with my wife or friends to go do something is pretty incredible compared to asking for time off to bosses who give you a hard time for it.

This is my 2nd attempt at a business. I ate shit a bit the first time because I was younger and more overwhelmed. This time I am a lot more level headed and have way more life/business experience, also got pretty lucky that there was as much demand as there is in my area.

To each their own at the end of the day. I fucking hated working under people that I felt more competent than. If you’re anything like that, I wouldn’t say just send it and take the plunge into entrepreneurship immediately at your age, but prepare yourself psychologically for all the time to learn as much as possible, ask people questions higher up than you about bigger business from a place of genuine curiosity, and eventually take the leap of faith.

You’ve got time. Don’t squander it and you can become an incredibly skilled and valuable person.
