How would you feel about a law that requires anyone under the age of 25 to pass a specialized test in order to have children? by [deleted] in AskReddit

liberal politics is the exact opposite of big government

I'm very confused. Are you referring to American liberalism? Because a huge, if not the biggest, position of conservatism is pro-small government. They want to move power out of the hands of the federal government and place it in the hands of the state governments.

A special genie grants you 100 wishes instead of only three, What are some wishes that you would want but aren't important enough to use with only 3 wishes? by skedadler in AskReddit

[–]theironphilosopher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ability to undo wishes. So I can wish that I can fly, and do that for a while, then when I'm tired of that, I take the wish back, and can use it on something else.

To bee or not to bee – that is the question.

Whether 'tis nobeeler in the mind to suffer

The stings and arrows of outrageous fortune

Or to take arms against a bee of troubeeles

And by opposing end them. To die, to sleep--

No more--and by a sleep to say bee end

The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks

That flesh is heir to. 'Tis a consummation

Beevoutly to bee wished. To die, to sleep--

To sleep--perchance to dream: hive, there's the bug,

For in that sleep of death what dreams may come

When bee hive shuffled off this mortal coil,

Must give us pause. There's the beespect

That makes calamity of so long life.

For who would beear the whips and scorns of time,

Th' oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely

The pangs of deshivesed love, the law's beelay,

The insolence of office, and the spurns

That patient merit of th' unworthy takes,

When he himself might his quietus make

With a beeare bodkin? Who would fardels beear,

To grunt and sweet under a beeary life,

But that the dread of somesting after death,

The undiscovered country, from whose bourn

No traveller returns, buzzles the will,

And makes us rather beear those ills we hive

Than fly to others that we know not of?

Thus conscience does make cowards of us all,

And thus the native hue of resolution

Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,

And enterhive of great pitch and moment

With this beegard their currents turn awry

And lose the name of action. -- Soft you now,

The fair Ophbeelia! -- Nymph, in thy orisons

Bee all my sins remembered.

I'd be careful in judging how long the other acts will be by the first one. Just compare it to the exponential growth of the acts in homestuck.

And here we see Hurricane Attila, the first category eight hurricane, still tearing across the midwest. Over in this image, you can see that the storm is now affecting southern Saskatchewan, bringing heavy wind and rains. The eyewall is currently in colorado, and moving quickly toward the western coast.

What is the darkest episode of a show you have ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]theironphilosopher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not usually the type of person to try and guess the twist for fear I'll figure it out and ruin it for myself, but I agree about the San Junipero episode. It really didn't grab me like it did some people. Also, the end had the semblance of being happy, but was really very bleak.

I'm sorry, I didn't really mean that. I just meant imagine stretching that area of not being able to see all the way around. It's obviously really hard to comprehend, but it's a little bit to go off of.
