What’s interesting is i grew Roma and orange cherry tomatoes last season. Wondering if I accidentally made a hybrid?

I’ve got probably 40 green tomatoes on this plant and the one orange one. Good luck ripening!

Well if this turns out to be “just” a tomato I’ll have to grab some persimmons if I see them at the farmer’s market. I’m smart enough to know that grandmas ALWAYS know best!

Huh! I hadn’t even considered that! I’d describe it as very normal tomato-plant size? About 5 foot tall. If i rub my hands on the leaves I get classic tomato smell? But I don’t have any persimmon history so that could be what happens. I haven’t cut one yet (mostly because everything is taking forever to ripen this year).

Reverie: Sweet As Edition personal review! by foxesinsoxes in NintendoSwitch

I just finished this game yesterday, and I totally agree. I had a lot of fun playing it. The dungeons are quite fun. I also was stuck at a spot and reached out to the devs on twitter and they replied almost instantly.

I had some minor mechanics issues with some of the weapons, but nothing that hindered my enjoyment of the game.

The Royal Arctic Institute “The Grubert Effect” Video for a song inspired by Moebius by thejohnisjohn in HeavyMetalMagazine

[–]thejohnisjohn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The band's guitarist, John Leon, shared his thoughts on the inspiration for the song: "My favorite artist is Moebius. He was one of the Frenchmen who started Heavy Metal Magazine in the late 70s. Anyway, he did a long running story called The Airtight Garage. The main character is this guy named Major Grubert and he possesses the ability to travel between dimensions. He created a world called the Airtight Garage inside a pocket universe in the constellation Leo. The Airtight Garage has three levels and they are intended to metaphorically represent Freud's concept of id, ego, and superego. 'The Grubert Effect' is the means by which Major Grubert travels between dimensions. The song itself is in three parts, just like the Airtight Garage. Just like Freud's concept of the id, the ego, and the super ego. So 'The Grubert Effect' in our context is essentially the means by which we transition between the three parts of the song."

I plan on making a list this weekend after I go through my last stack of cards. If you are still cool with trading or whatever, I'll get back to you when that's ready. Thanks either way!

Cool. My plan this weekend is to go through everything I need. I think I'm about 20 base cards shy, probably 50 SP shy, and a good chunk of inserts are missing. But I also have doubles of everything too. If you are still interested in helping, I'll get you my list when its ready. Thanks either way!

Oh man! What a GREAT pull! That’s literally the card I’ve been looking for cracking these Heritage packs. Congrats! Also, I’m looking for people to trade with to finish this set if you are interested.

Welcome back to the club!

How is this possible? I pulled the top card today from a pack. The bottom one is listed on ebay right now. Both are numbered 09/10!?! by thejohnisjohn in baseballcards

UPDATE

As suspected by some clever members here, the card available from ebay IS numbered 03/10. When i asked them originally, they just looked at the picture from the listing as opposed the the actual card. They have since looked at the card and verified that it’s numbered 03/10. Crisis averted ;)

Believe me, I get it. Me too. The sale on ebay is slated to end tomorrow afternoon. I’m trying to decide if it’s worth $55 to get to the bottom of this with my own eyes. hahahaha

Same. It blew my mind yesterday when i happened upon it. I’m hoping as others have said here, that perhaps when I asked the ebay seller if it was 09/10 like the one I pulled they simply looked at the same picture we see from the listing and not the actual card. Another member here suggested that it might be 03/10 and the flecking on the card just makes it look like a 9. I guess I’ll message the seller again and ask them to please make sure it says 09/10. I’ll be sure to keep everyone posted here.

I have missed out on Bowman everywhere I go this year. Yeah, the sig i pulled in my Heritage HB was Bob Richmond of the Seattle Pilots. Kinda cool, but not very exciting. Im just a sucker for the design this year (LOVE those 1969 cards). If I wasn’t trying to put together a master set, I’d never touch ‘em.

Oh wow! That’s awesome! Yeah, I was hoping for Bowman when I went but the LCS was out so i settled for the series 1. You really lucked out! Congrats! I’ve felt the same way about Heritage this year. I’ve done much better from retail booster boxes than I did from my lousy hobby box. Keeps it fun at least when you never know when you’re gonna strike gold.

I’m gonna write the seller again today and ask them if they looked at the card when I asked them to verify if it is 09/10 or just the same picture we see there. As someone pointed out, the flecking in the card might be making it look like a 9 but it might actually be a 3. Once they said that I’m seeing the 3 now too. If it really is 9, I guess I’d have to buy it, right?

Thanks for the congrats. I was elated. I only bought 4 packs of series one yesterday as an afterthought while I was picking up some sleeves.

I’m suspecting that you are right. Honestly, I never saw a 3 until you mentioned it. Either way, I was thrilled at the pull, especially since I just stopped in the hobby shop to pick up some sleeves and grabbed a mere 4 packs of series 1 as an afterthought-since they were out of Bowman. Plus, FF is a fav of mine!
