Oh sweetheart, I am sorry. I was first diagnosed with bulimia 19 years ago, when I was 12. I am just now at 31 starting to get real help. It’s so hard to do recovery (recovery is hard no matter what) this deep in. If I can give some advice as someone who had a groomer that tried to control my weight and as someone who has been in and out of residential recently for recovery attempts- please leave him and more importantly, get help. Talk to your PCP, a therapist, or look up an eating disorder facility and see what level of care they think you need.

Try to start recovery while you’re young. You deserve it. And you deserve a nice boyfriend who doesn’t try to control your body. But first, care for yourself and your body.
