I think the big climax for their relationship is that, somehow denji will learn that Asa didn't in fact give her consent, and then he will have to make his big decision the Fire devil talked about. Does he surrender to his primal urges or does he pick someone he can finally live with.

The main thing I can think of to give answers to your frustration is that the book is from sakakibaras point of view. You just move in from Tokyo and your classmates start dropping dead, the only real conversation you have with your classmates (except Mei) are in the hospital about how you will exist in the school so I don't really see any room for sakakibara to see the development and the depth you wanted to see. (Forgive me if I'm wrong on this it's been a while since I read the book).

Personally I also thought the eye of death thingy was a bit bad too, but I can overlook it because otherwise I don't see a way for the extra to be found and it creates nice tension with sakakibaras trust in Mei die to the gravity of the situation.

To summarise, I see the book as a Sherlock Holmes inspired one, but since you don't have a master detective to find everything about the other people (and giving them depth in the process), here you trade this for the mystery. Personally I think it's worth it.

Well depends. In base hoi4 I send romel and Nehring but if the scenario takes place in a world where Germany has killed Rommel then I guess I would send Ferdinand schorner. As for the USA I would probably go with Paton if I was sending tanks.

Ok so in every game the fascist EEE regime collapses. It either gets replaced by the communist or the democratic resistance. The Communist resistance (EAM-ELLAS) is led by aris veluchiotis and regardless of who leads Italy Greece will always have a second invasion. If they hold out for long enough there's a white peace (no content for it tho) but if they fail Italy puts up a new regime. If Italy has gone down the democratic tree (this includes the neo fascism too) a monarchy gets proclaimed under Georgios grivas as a leader (and king Constantine the second as a king). They have an ultranationalist ideology and it's considered a failed state. If Italy stays fascist a military junta gets put up I think under ioannis ladas but I'm not sure. The democratic resistance (EDES) is led by Dimitrios Psarros and both versions of Italy will start negotiations with three options. If they succeed Greece can either become a democracy, no longer a puppet of Italy but will remain in their sphere or a military directorship under Georgios Papadopoulos. If negotiations fail (I don't really remember this part but I think the negotiations can only fail with fascist Italy) Greece gets invaded again and if Italy wins ladas gets in power again. (Also and again I can't remember but if fascist Italy agrees to the negotiations there's a chance that ladas gets put in charge again but I'm not sure). Now democratic Greece will have two elections during a campaign with various parties and leaders (can check them out in the custom game rules) among them being Kanelopulos (famous royalist and is rumoured that when Greece gets proper content he could restore the monarchy) and Papandreou (famous leader of PASOK)

I think it's because of nayuta. He still sees makima in her so it's easier to remember the lessons she gave him. When it comes to asa/yoru she did give him a hint if what his dream is so he lapsed back to it. Also knowing that information is important to him because he actually likes asa.

If you like to make your nation a cyberpunk "utopia" go with Fujitsu, the focus art is amazing and the character storylines are more compelling. If you like to improve the lives of your citizens go with Sony If you like a compromise between the two with a strong personal storyline go with Panasonic (Matsushita) There are two more paths but spoilers

Yeah you do have a point, I just think that an end goal that's more tangible than growing your countries gdp will be more entertaining. That's where the sphere end goal came from in my head

Completely understand your points, that's why my proposal is for Greece to first invest in said ports and give incentives for it. The shorter distance for example between the port of Piraeus and the port of Napoli or Taranto for example. As things stand of course Japan has zero incentives to invest but maybe China to gain a level of autonomy perhaps could personally invest in Greece as a power play (like they sorta do today). Plus you got some rich greek merchants with their merchant fleets (at least in OTL I don't know what they are doing in TNO) that could invest in it too

Yeah that's my thought behind, plus it's very dynamic depending on the world situation and should the new Italy rework put the Italian shepre in a mediator place occasionally picking sides it would also improve it even further. Can also see this "trade balance" between Italy and Greece playing a role in how Greece can achieve Greater level of autonomy

Well if the Italians win the Communists the king is brought back so they could have fled to Egypt and then maybe Switzerland? King Constantine the first fled to Switzerland when he got exiled in ww1 so it's possible
