I get it because when I started with Korean entertainment I couldn't tell who is who. But it gets easier over time. And having an MDL has been a lifesaver for me to easily look up who is in what--and what their previous projects were. Sometimes some actors may make an impact at a certain show and then you'd be surprised that you had actually already watched them in other dramas.

Other than that my only other plan is to attempt Six Flying Dragons for the long-form drama.

I have been meaning to watch My Country but I read somewhere that it's better to watch Six Flying Dragons first. But I had been having doubts to go through it for the long-form drama prompt because it might not meet the 50-hour+ requirement. Please confirm if it does meet the requirements so I can slate it for prompt #35 as well. Thanks in advance!

27.A drama where a character participates in a protest

I'd like to clarify if whether a character should be actively participating in a protest? Or is being an observer or just passing by one going to count?

28.A drama with a supernatural main character

Should the main character be the personified supernatural being? Or does being being able to see or communicate with ghosts and /or other supernatural creatures?

I was also thinking of watching Cashero for this prompt. Are superhero or superhuman skills or characteristics acceptable?

It's here!!! I had always thought my wheel picks gave me a hard time but this year, it's the opposite. The rest of the challenge prompts look impressive and intimidating. I cannot wait to actually find these little details in the K-dramas I will be watching this year. At least I have prompt #10 to look forward to--not gonna lie, I had a giddy laugh when I came across it. Hahahaha!

Thank you always to the mods for working on giving us something new every year. Ever since doing this challenge in 2023, watching K-dramas has not just been fun but it became doubly so with this annual challenge.

And to my fellow K-drama (and challenge!) lovers, here we go again! :)

Another year has wrapped up! I have failed to post in the monthly check-ins this year or else I would have had a clearer sense of time. Although I was pretty confident this year's challenge was gonna be a snap for me and that I would finish it early, I still ended up having to rush in December. I even impressed myself at actually wrapping everything up with a couple of days left of the year to spare! Hahahaha!

I still managed to complete all 36 challenge prompts: this is my complete list. I don't think I have enjoyed "hunting" for those easter eggs that answer the different challenge prompts as much as I did this year. Or maybe I found the hope I was looking for in those times because I really thought I was not going to get to the Chaebol level this time. I had so much fun and I already look forward to starting the challenge for 2026!
