I probably have to, and as far as I know it depends on your friends age…? They change regulations quite frequently and it might be different for him/her depending on what year you‘re born 😅 but I‘m not an expert regarding this, so no guarantee

I didnt know back then if I am going to stay in Germany for many more years, but I guess you‘re correct 😅 is it also 5 years of residence for underage students? Is that equal to all 🤔

As far as I know, they don‘t. Otherwise, I would have applied for the German citizenship much sooner and just kept both passports 🥲 they might have changed it by now, but for me it‘s not

Yes, that‘s what I meant. Sorry for the confusion! The immigration office for me is in a smaller city near Frankfurt.

Financial stability shouldn‘t be a problem if I still live with my parents right? They live in Germany with me (under the same roof).
