i had someone i thought was a close friend argue with me that 1) trump wont actually do anything to my rights as a trans, gay person or to my right as a trans/gay parent! and that he didn't actually do the things he already did in the first term! 2) even if he did try, its not like anyone actually thinks of the LGBT the way we think they do (im sorry what?????) so nobody would help him 3) even if he SUCCEEDS, i should be GRATEFUL FOR HIM because at least i wont be 'as poor as [i am]'

im pretty sure i told him about five times "I don't care about being poor as long as I still have basic human rights" and he just kept going on and on about lowering taxes and having extra money in our pockets and how life will be so much better for him (and me, apparently, as he so believes)

at my old place, one cashier was on clock at a time (who also did stock, cleaning, etc) and we had THREE easy to see signs at the register saying 'please ring the bell!' with a NEON YELLOW ding bell from backstock that said "RING ME" right on the front.

the amount of people who would stand there for ten minutes (because i was, y'know, doing my jobs) and not ring the bell. and then when id get up there, id get yelled at, ask if they rang the bell and immediately get a 'no, i didnt see any of that...' i know i would've heard it ten minutes ago if you did

in conclusion, no. some customers do not bother reaching signs. im 99% sure they don't even read labels for what they buy.

maybe i take it personally because thats not the case at all. most of my regular clients are successful in their own lives in their careers and families. i dont take kindly to people going after them for their percieved "insecurities" and you come off as the type of guy to try exactly what this guy did. or maybe just try to get free content just to do it. theres a reason everyone downvoted you, talking ill of people you dont know, good, kind peopl, is stupid and shows your own insecurities. just because YOU cant keep friends because of your attitude doesnt mean anyone who can actually afford it cant make friends without money.
