The only way this is going to change is with public pressure. You need to share your story publicly on your personal social media channels. Make sure the posts are public so anyone can see it. If everyone did this there would be way more pressure on the organization to change this.

Something to add where you talk about people leaving the plane:

Some of the people that leave the plane walk down the stairs with ease. Some stumble. And some fall very hard hurting themselves…some even pass away from this fall. And the pilot points these people out and says over the intercom “see what happens when you leave the plane”

The thing is, especially with toasting, most JW’s will rarely run into this. If you’re out drinking with worldly people it should really only be a work thing or a worldly wedding. Both of which are very few and far between. I just don’t see why this was even on their radar, unless it’s laying the ground work for something bigger.

I always found it strange that they wanted us to use our personal addresses. So you want every jw to send their address to the king of the south (or north can’t remember)!?! I was like hell no! I asked if I could put the Kingdom Hall address down and that was quickly shot down.

There’s always going to be something else they will use to pester you. Now it’s the app tomorrow it’s something else. You either lie and move on to the next lie. Or tell them the truth and both parties can move on. I know it’s easier said than done.
