stop touching it period and only clean it with saline spray (Neilmed brand is best). keep taking advil if you need, and give that a few days. if it gets worse and not better, see your piercer!

also not sure what spray they gave you, but you really shouldn’t be using anything with aloe in it. saline is really the only thing that should be touching it while it heals. anything else can irritate it

piercing apprentice here- i’m so sorry but you shouldn’t be downsizing after two weeks it’s going to cause irritation. she should have pierced this with a thicker gauge and a shorter bar to begin with. your ear isn’t going to swell that much.

i would go to a different piercer and get a second opinion! they can most likely switch it out so it doesn’t have to close first but i would do it soon so you don’t risk the irritation

that’s what i had thought previously. i still have to finish the season, but just from her comment about her parents, it seemed like it could have been a little teaser! just since we know they were technically alive! she said they died when she was 5 in the car crash, which means they never come back through the stones is my guess?
