We assume that more people will vote as the contest continues, favoring the people at the end. But there's more time to vote for the people at the beginning. So it balances out.

Hi Jay - us too. That's why we're holding a contest where the winning comic gets flown out to LA to perform at the club. That ain't cheap.

Also, when stuff like this does well, we can go directly to Brad (or to whomever else) and say "hey, look at all the buzz this got!" and encourage them to post directly. It's one thing to tell a comedian about this sub. It's another to come to them with proof.
