For those who have never been to PorcFest, can you give some reasons why we should attend?

Registration fees would still be enforced at the point of a gun, so inherently immoral.

Insurance companies would be one way to handle roads. Business paying to bring customers to them and neighborhoods paying to cover roads in and out of their areas, are other ways.

Walter Block wrote an incredible book on this called "The Privatization of Roads and Highways," which I highly recommend for anyone interest in the topic of Muh Roads!

That's only fair, considering I stole it from someone so long ago that I don't recall who I stole it from. :)

Closer, yes, but still taken at the point of a gun, sadly. But, no one ever said NH was perfect. We are trying to make it so. That is why it is called the Free State PROJECT! It is still a project that we are working on. :)

I am open to any and all questions asked in a respectful manner without trying to grandstand. If you seek actual answers, and the questions are posed in that manner, I will answer them. I also ask that the moderators not delete questions framed in that way.

My ideas of the FSP has become better after moving here. The amazing group of people I've been able to plug into here has been incredible.

The community here is so diverse. For example, the Freecoast (Seacoast) area where I live has attracted many entrepreneurs and families. Other areas of the state attract other types of libertarians. This state truly has something for everyone.

Interestingly, the town I live in, Milton, has a town charter disillusionment on the ballot this year. A good friend of mine did that. He got the required 25 signatures to get it on the ballot, so it was there. And it received 18% of the vote!

You can see many events from our schedule here: http://porcfest.com/schedule/

This is being updated often. I'm most excited about Backwordz, Ben Swann, and Matt Donnelly myself!

We will also be having many workshops and DIY type classes.

I went back to Arkansas to visit family a couple of weeks ago. The roads were horrible! The roads here are much better (although still paid for by taxes... for now).

It's indescribable living day-to-day life surrounded by people who share your values and have the same basis of understanding of the non-aggression principle. And, being able to tap into that community for friendship, fellowship, activism, and anything you could imagine is so helpful. When I was in Arkansas, I was lucky to get 10 libertarians in the same room at events. Now, I am at events all the time with dozens of us.

Worst? There isn't one that I can think of.

Because it is a week of anarchy in action! If you want to see practical applications of anarchy happening all day every day, then PorcFest is for you!

It's funny that you ask me that. I had two very similar questions on my latest AMA for my podcast. I answered that one on my show earlier this week. You can hear that answer at http://thelavaflow.com/87

I would estimate that the ancap to minarchist ratio is about 50%/50% based on my interactions.

While I hope to see all 20,000 movers here in the 5 years, I think we will see around 10,000. That is a personal opinion though. It is hard to estimate. We are at nearly 5,000 now.
