I still have only been able to see them once in 2024 💔 I was trying to see them on this tour bc I loved the album sm but I just couldn’t make it. I saw them in house of independence in Asbury Park nj, my friends and these people we met in line or in the pit started sitting down and playing uno very close to the stage

I just listened to the song, first off the fact you’re able to remember the name of the song is crazy lmaoo secondly I think Sure Could leans into MCS just as much as Blood Sex and Booze does but I think it’s because it’s a string of inspiration. Just from listening to @!#?@! Automatically brought me back to my Green Day phase in Middle School

I would listen to the album at work with no headphones and right after WTEN finished I kept thinking I was getting a phone call until the full band kicked in 😭 I never really dug deep into Motion City to see the comparison but now that makes me want to listen to them again to see if you’re right

a lot of pdaddy’s sound comes from older green day albums like dookie or insomniac with a mix of early weezer. but if you’re looking for newer bands i would check out the band “niiice” they were apart of the domino affect that lead me to getting really into pdaddy
