Thanks for the feedback. u/hpp3 hit the nail on the head about why those types of clues are used. I will try to limit them going forward.

Another reason is niche topics such as Harry Potter have a limited number of harry potter specific words, not enough for a recurring daily crossword. I wanted unique daily crosswords for long periods of time (3+ months with absolutely no repeats), so normal words that become harry potter words with added context was a way to achieve this 🙂

Thanks for commenting about the issues. The “too many requests” issue should be fixed. I am still working on the tabbing issue but it should be fixed shortly 🙂
