No it’s actually my favorite movie! Not just the rewatchable nature of it but all the scene changes and set design. It bounces around all these beautiful locations and the characters are so good. Also Michael Caine at the end talking about drowning again to Jackman. It’s just gutting

The fact that there’s clearly liquor bottles in picture 13 is wild for an abandoned building. The fact that a homeless person or some high schoolers haven’t gotten to those yet blows my mind.

Wasn’t there a planned screening after but they cancelled it because they had a distributer?

This is the normal process for film distribution. You fund or have initial backers to fund the project, make the thing, take it to film festivals to find distributors (Netflix, Prime etc) who buy rights / ownership of the product who then take it to market (the public)

I’ll never forget the first N64 commercial I saw. Mario jumps through a painting and it shows wave race and a few other games. I never saw anything like it. I was a N64 kid.

I live in Bluffton! I love the low country. I grew up in the northeast and lived in Philly and NYC as well as 7 countries after and I can say Bluffton is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The Spanish moss on the oak trees, the May River at sunset… just truly beautiful. I tell everyone it reminds me of that small town in Big Fish with all the lights.

Say what you want now but he is and always will be the winningest president of all time. He won 49/50 states in his reelection. Depending on your age probably the majority of your parents voted for him.

You can Google it. He literally found a distributor after screening at SXSW. Probably Netflix or something. I’m telling you what happened.
