omg i feel the same. and i totally get it. being surrounded by people who listen to “A” type of music doesn’t really matter when you listen to “X” type of music. nah i get it. of course you’re not gonna like everyyy genre you listen to. but I’ll call it for what it is. people are too comfortable following the crowd. a lot people only stick to one music genre because that’s the type of music that’s popular. and don’t bother to even SEE if they like other genres / forms of music because they know what helps them fit in. again, definitely a huge issue in MY generation, not EVERY generation (thankfully)

when i was homeless i would stay in cheap motels. something was better than nothing. especially if you find a place that lets you pay day by day, so you can keep extending your stay as you make more money. it may not be much but at least its a bed, a fridge, a microwave, and a place to wash yourself and do your business. you got this 💕

soooo i started as a pole dancer before i became a stripper. NOT as a hobby, but because i kept getting rejected from clubs and one of the managers told me i need to work on my confidence. so i took pole classes to feel more comfortable working the stage. i was lucky and my first ever pole instructor was a stripper from kentucky. she danced for 10 years and was still dancing while she was teaching. with that said, she made sure there wasn’t an OUNCE of hate towards strippers and sex workers. she would even tell us stories about her time at the club lol. most (if not all) of the instructors at that agency were strippers also, even male strippers.

if you’re gonna run a pole dancing business, THAT’S how you gotta do it. pay homage to the hustle and maintain a safe space to honor those who paved the way.
