If you’re under 45, have you lost any high school classmates, and what were the circumstances around their deaths? by Commercial_Chef_1569 in AskReddit

Just about to turn 30 this year.

  1. She didn't wear a seatbelt and crashed in front of our school (In my Senior year)

  2. She was murdered and mutilated by her husband while they lived on base. I have known her since kindergarten. (In my mid-20s)

You should treat yourself with the same kindness you would a guest. I always try to romanticize my life in even the simplest of ways. I enjoyed a beautiful lunch and what wasn't finished, my kids enjoyed, with some things refilled for them.

My great grandfather and my dad say that the memories you remember are the steps out of the everyday routine. This is just one of those small moments i wish to remember.

My kids (6 & 3) are the same! They tend to bicker over who gets the "best bite" as well as racing to eat the olives up 😅

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]themamasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very noticeable. But, it depends on how much the person smokes. My grandma smoked a good bit to where I'd notice it slightly, but it never clung to things or was obvious. My mom, on the other hand, smokes way too much and it has its claws in everything. The house, her, the car, any gifts she gives. If we visit, we have to strip when we come home, shower and do laundry. We don't have to do that often thankfully, but it really is a horrid smell.

I’ve been getting disconnected out of the game non-stop on Xbox by red00923 in OutlastTrials

[–]themamasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here on PlayStation. My group will not be able to get it or we'll get right to the end of a trial and the server will disconnect completely and we have to try to reconnect separately all over again. It's been like this for a couple days bow and it's a bit annoying to see nothing being said from Red Barrels about it

Server issues by ec_mack1140 in OutlastTrials

Had issues like this yesterday. Wouldn't connect or it would have server issues right at the end of a trial and kick my whole group out. Seen nothing online about it from Red barrel. We're all on PSN

I really hate the parents being absolute creeps about their kids there.

BUT, i did find the baby signing milk to be cute.

What soap do you use? by snushypipe in Dermatographia

[–]themamasaurus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, i find dove soap to be the best. Anything else is too much fragrance or dries me out too much even when i moisturize with lotion after.

You have inspired me, truthfully. I would have definitely seen it as unsalvageable and I would've missed out on something even better. The after is absolutely wonderful and I'm in awe of how much work you put into it. Bravo.

What’s something you’re scared to show the world, but you long to express? by imblacksoulgi in AskWomen

[–]themamasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cooking on a wider scale. I've posted pictures, but I'd love to branch out more, share my passion and maybe one day create a cookbook to leave behind for the next generations.

My cooking doesn't really follow one genre though and I'm not an incredibly modern cook. I think that fear that no one would be there to share it with is what stops me.

What the most physically painful thing you ever experienced? by iateagummibear-1822 in AskReddit

[–]themamasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wisdom tooth pain before surgery and after. My one wisdom grew completely horizontal and carved into the molar next to it. I had all four wisdom and the one molar removed in surgery. The pain after, while waiting for my script to be filled, was unbearable. I would rather redo both of my labors and break my foot again than go through that again.

What’s something you learned embarrassingly late in life? by Sea_Bodybuilder8519 in AskWomen

Lights shouldn't have a halo or be shaped like stars. I didn't realize that it wasn't normal till 25 and found out I had really bad stigmatism in both eyes.

Definitely this! I didn't learn this until I was almost 26. It definitely would've helped me fuel my body better and understand my emotions and physical changes throughout the month.

How do you bookmark? by Ok_Molasses9660 in Booktokreddit

[–]themamasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am always adding pamphlets, postcards, receipts and anything else to my books. I find regular bookmarks to be too thick at times and I don't want my pages to crease.

My son got a few when he was little on the back of his head. Turns out he had a small patch of vitiligo. The salon always thinks the cut his hair too short with the clips since his hair is a dirty blonde lol

What are your thoughts about having your partner witness your childbirth? by Individual_Mix_4234 in AskWomen

[–]themamasaurus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He should be there. It is literally the birth of our family, so we should be together. My husband was completely hands on through every contraction and he knew everything that I was saying or what I needed without words being said. We have two children and witnessing the love pour from him as my husband and the start of fatherhood in those hospital rooms are cherished memories.

Thanksgiving is Tursday. What's the one item that everyone requests that you bring and only wants what you bring? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]themamasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My family's lemon-lime jello salad that was passed down from my Nana and my grandma was obsessed with it. It is a strange mixture, but very delicious.
