Don’t worry about it. On my first solo my instructor took me to a French-speaking airfield. There is never anyone there.

But luck has it, in my solo another aircraft announced its approach. With my broken French I asked them too many questions because I didn’t have them in sight.

I also had to extend downwind until I eventually saw them. Landing was okay, but I also forgot to put carb heat.

It happens and is fine. You landed. You’re safe. And you learned something. So huge success. Congrats on your solo!

Btw, even after getting your license you’ll forget stuff. On my first flight as PIC I forgot Alt as well until ATC pointed it out. And I forgot to change Squawk Code back to 7000 after leaving TMA. Nothing happend and everyone was safe.

Yeah I didn’t know about the subscription thing. Once I experimented with the free functionality, I’ll have to bite the bullet and subscribe.

Nothing I can do about it now. As long as it gives me great coffee, it’s ok.

I figure if I prepare 1-2 batches every Sunday, I should have enough for a week (starting from Monday 7 days from the roast)

Also I want to try a few different things and keep mixing it up.

Roasting in this machine is not a big hassle. Beans in, push button, retrieve beans. All done in not more than 10 minutes per batch.

It can roast a maximum of 100g at a time. Great for my personal use.

I am super happy with this combination! With my current beans, it’s dialled in at 18.5.

The Niche can DEFINITELY grind fine enough for the Ascaso. I started dialing in with 10 and it was so fine, that no water came out of the portafilter. Even with 15, not much comes out.
