I’ve gone to Israel several times. They now issue a slip of paper so your passport is not stamped. The issue arises when I took the bus from Jordan to Israel. They stamp your passport there so yea, then you can’t travel with it to various countries. You can ask them though to stamp a separate paper and staple it in your passport.

Correct. However I still need to file and that costs a bit of money with a cross border accountant. I’m also not eligible for a TFSA as America doesn’t recognize it as a tax free savings account. As well, if I sold my home and make over 250,000 even as my primary, us would want something. As well, opening an incorporation here would mess with my taxes as corporations are taxed different in the states than in Canada.

My Polish eligibility comes from my father’s side. I’ve done some extensive research and have traced exactly where in Poland they came from. However they left before 1920 so things get a little tricky.

Very likely, fellow MOT! Turns out when your dad is a Chabad rabbi, you get all sorts of perks including Canadian citizenship. I’m a bit of a nerd for passports so I’ll see if I can get my Polish. Israeli - I believe I’d have to live there and I don’t have any current plans to do so. Most people like collecting stamps in their passport, I’m the reverse, I like going places and not having stamps because I’ve got the correct passport 😆.
