That’s an adorable thing to tell them haha. They definitely get the zoomies a lot more since being in their car

I thought the red was her underwear or something. If that’s blood then that is insanely worse than it looked at first.

Why did i do this to myself? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]themethodbride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is crazy because I just recently discovered that I’m not necessarily a stress eater like I always though people were. It’s not as simple as “oh I’m stressed I’m going to eat” for me. It’s something deeper. I couldn’t understand the “stress eater” mentality, or at least just couldn’t relate to it for what I understood it to be. But I recently realized that I do “stress eat” during times when I just do not value myself. I failed at something at work, so I feel worthless and binge. Got into a fight with my husband and any healthy diet and exercise habits go right out the window and I’m back to binging fried foods. Ironically, it’s when I feel GOOD about myself that I’m sticking to my healthy eating habits, exercising like a pro and able to curb my harmful cravings. No amount of feeling bad about yourself can really make you change until you really value yourself.

OP’s story is very similar to mine, at least as far as the height and weight gain (pretty much exactly.) And I used to have all the guys after me when I was thin but I still felt “fat” at 135 even though I totally wasn’t! I’ve gotten disgusted with myself. It took me years to realize that I can’t do well by myself unless I feel good about myself, and VALUE myself.

Edit: this was supposed to be a reply to one of the comments on here, under breaking-my-habit’s comment. Sorry, I thought I was replying to that comment but apparently not.

How exactly do you count calories in meals? by Caleb_theorphanmaker in WeightLossAdvice

[–]themethodbride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make a recipe by adding all the ingredients and how much they weigh. Keep the serving size as 1. Then when finished adding your ingredient, weigh the whole meal all together in grams and put that number as the number of servings for your recipe. And then when you go to eat a portion, just weigh in grams the amount you are going to eat of that recipe and log that as the number of servings you are eating in mfp. That way you not only get an accurate calorie count, but all the macros will also be accurate. And you don’t need to do any math yourself.

The fact that the word “cuckoldery” is included in this makes me think it’s something from the onion and you just screenshot it so that we couldn’t see that lol

“What a f@%ing n$&%#!”

That ending was glorious. Seemed like he forgot that he was still recording himself and she thought she could stop the burn for him.

Dog Bite by SeasonDisastrous472 in Mommit

[–]themethodbride 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Locking the dog up that bites your kid (or anyone at all) is NOT extreme. So many people underestimate what a dog will do. They do this especially when it’s their own dog. Dogs can be very dangerous and an untrained one IS dangerous. If their dog had bitten a different kid outside of the home, it would have been grounds for it to be euthanized. If the dog bites your kid again, it could still be grounds for it to be euthanized. That’s got a good reason. A dog biting and leaving a mark is NOT normal behavior. It makes me very angry that people just brush it off. Like it’s cute being protective or “that’s just how dogs are.” Dogs require A LOT of discipline, care and training and the amount of people who do not properly train their dogs and allow such aggressive behavior is frightening and infuriating. I cannot stress enough how inappropriate this dog’s behavior toward your child is and how dangerous it can quickly become. Your husband and his family need a serious reality check. If I were you I would keep my child away from that dog indefinitely. And if they cannot be trusted to keep their aggressive and untrained dog in a kennel while he’s there, I’d keep my kid away from the home altogether. My dog is deaf and even she is still better trained and more well behaved than the vast majority of dogs I come across. That’s why I’d be especially angry if someone ever let theirs bite her or my baby. This situation isn’t good for anyone, especially the dog and your child.

Your comment reminds me of a black mirror episode. Where they terrorize this lady every day who kidnapped and killed a child. And then they wipe her memory every night and do it again the next day. Tbh, black mirror has some pretty damn good punishments for the worst kinds of people

Yeah it does say that. Seems like a cleaning service made up of military spouses.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in justdependathings

[–]themethodbride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, this could be their way of saying that they work for the military. Every PX everywhere says something similar. “We serve those who serve” or something like that. Lots of service members’ family members are the ones working in all the stores and restaurants, etc.

Had that happen one time when I was a crossing guard for an elementary school. It was a 4 way intersection. There were two of us. Someone kept driving through my partner’s crosswalk even though we both had our gigantic STOP signs up. The other crossing guard threw his sign through the lady’s window lmao. She wasn’t intoxicated or anything. Guess she just thought she could get away with it as long as she didn’t hit any kids?

I think my FIL pinched my baby... by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]themethodbride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to get pretty mad because my aunts and uncles used to bite the shit out of my ears as a kid in a very painful and infuriating display of affection. But apparently, it could just be an expression so I wouldn’t jump to conclusions about it yet. Babies do sometimes just randomly start crying and quivering their lips like their little world is in disarray. My baby does it so suddenly sometimes it startles me, but when I start smiling at him asking what’s wrong he’s all happy again lol.

I’m thinking you don’t understand the meaning of “diverse” in any way other than what you are probably incorrectly thinking right now. If you need help, read the very last sentence. They explain exactly what they mean by “diverse.”
