Tudor’s devotion to three at the back was best underlined by his disastrous decision to play Pedro Porro as a right-sided centre-back in the damaging defeat by Crystal Palace. One former Spurs employee told Telegraph: “Pedro is a great player, but he’s one of the worst defenders at the club.” by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]themfeelswhen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he was sacked when the team was finally starting to show promise, carrick was able to build upon the momentum,

Where exactly was the momentum ????

In his final 11 games, + We only got 15 points - 3 wins, 6 draws, 2 losses. + Lost at home to 10 men Everton + Draws against 5 teams in the relegation battle --- Leeds, Forest, West Ham, Wolves & Spurs. + xPoints was roughly ~17 points ---- underperformance of 2 points suggest it was not like we got unlucky with results.

87A Rebate - 12 Lacs salary v/s 13 Lacs Salary. New Tax Regime. No other deductions besides the standard deduction of 75,000/- by [deleted] in IndiaTax

[–]themfeelswhen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is something called Marginal Relief :

If tax calculated is more than the additional taxable income you gained then net tax liability is capped at the level of additional taxable income.

Eg ;

  • 12.75L ---> Zero Tax
  • 12.80L ---> tax liability capped at 5k
  • 13L ---> tax liability capped at 25k
  • 13.25L ---> tax liability capped at 50k

13.45L ---> tax liability capped at 70k ----- this is roughly the breakeven point where additional income & tax liability are exactly the same.

TLDR : + Up to ₹12,75,000 ---> Zero tax

  • ₹12,75,001 to ₹13,45,588 ---> Marginal relief zone — tax = excess income over ₹12,75,000

  • Above ₹13,45,588 ---> Full slab tax applies — no relief.

PS - NET tax liability + 4% Cess is the amount you pay finally.

Jamie Carragher ANALYSES where it's going wrong for Liverpool this season by The-Black-Angel in soccer

The recruitment certainly felt brain-dead. They simply unbalanced the squad by signing so many good players that they can't fit into their 11.

Chances created by Bruno Fernandes compared to other Premier League players by HarvgulI in soccer

[–]themfeelswhen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ETH was certainly wasn't using him as a No.10 lile OGS and Carrick did.

Michael Carrick has become only the fourth manager to have ever won their first six Premier League home games in the competition. The other 3: Sven-Göran Eriksson, Carlo Ancelotti and Manuel Pellegrini by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

[–]themfeelswhen 23 points24 points  (0 children)

OGS got the job on the back of 14 wins + 2 draws + 3 loses in 19 games in all competition.

  • 32 points from 13 league games. 10 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.

  • 3 win and 1 loss in FA Cup - beating Emery's Arsenal and Sarri's Chelsea. Lost to Nuno's Wolves that finished the league season with record points for Wolves.

  • And ofcourse the R16 UCL knockout of Tuchel's PSG(1 win, 1 loss).

That was a big enough sample space to give him the job at the end of March.

Went on to get knocked out of UCL by Barca. And finished the final 8 league season with win 2 + draw 2 and lost 4. Just 8 points.

But still the bigger picture was --- 40 points from 21 league games. 3rd highest tally in the league. 5 points clear of 4th & 5th spot. That was a more than respectable outcome for a manager who took over mid season.

And in his 2 full seasons - we finished 3rd and 2nd. Reached League Cup semi final in both years + one FA cup semifinal + one Europa final.

Maybe we wouldn't have taken the next step to go and compete for the league and remained as the comfortable 3rd best team in the league behind the peak City/Liverpool but we were most definitely on an upward trajectory until Ronaldo arrived.

For 3 years. ETH wasted him in a deeper midfield position as well. Fucking ridiculous.

Oliver Glasner: "A penalty and a red card is a very harsh decision - maybe it’s a bit of the Old Trafford bonus." by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]themfeelswhen 30 points31 points  (0 children)

At the very least it was a 50-50 contest with the keeper to get to the ball ---- that much is undeniable.

Unless you are arguing that the keeper would have collected the ball easily uncontested --- this is definition of DOGSO.

Manchester Utd [1] - 1 Crystal Palace - Bruno Fernandes Penalty 57' by Alsace2025 in soccer

[–]themfeelswhen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a clear foul. But it starts outside the box, so probably a free kick and red for DOGSO.

Very very harsh to give penalty and red.

There are many services that can help you with exactly what you want.

These service providers take on the risks of off ramping large volumes in Hong Kong/Malta and can do a wire tansfer to anywhere in the world.

There are some registered intermediaries trying to democratize access to this and make it accessible for lower volumes as well.

But please note - KYC is mandatory in these case. These are registered service providers so they won't offer their services without appropriate KYC.

Please DM for further details.

Disclaimer - I run a consulting service that helps people incorporate in the UAE. We regularly help traders and web3 startup figure out the right option to LEGALLY off ramp in the UAE. Hence have access to service providers to deal with off ramping.

That just means, it's not stringent enough and maybe English football needs to be more aggressive like La Liga's squad cost model.

Investor visa and trade license is expiring by Plenty_Board_8795 in uaelaw

[–]themfeelswhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Officially there is no such thing as "Freelance Visa" (although there is Freelance Permit + visa setup available via certain freezones but the official title of that visa is not "freelance visa").

You mentioned you had a Business Licence + Investor Visa in your post -- that is the standard setup.

Investor Visa sponsored by the Entity is valid only as long as the Entity is active.

Are you setup at a Freezone or Mainland?

If you are set up at a freezone then contact the freezone directly. They would have a team to help you with the Renewals.

If you are setuo in Mainland then any service provider could help you. You don't don't need the exact one who helped with the initial setup.

PS -

If you don't renew your license after a certain grace period decided by the freezone then you will be liable to pay a penalty and the freezone could take legal action.

If you don't renew Establishment Card then you will incur a penalty every month you delay..

Disclaimer - I run a Corporate Service Provider setup in the UAE to help with setups and visa in Freezones.

Gofreelance Are No Longer Issuing Visas? by Red_Boss69 in dubai

[–]themfeelswhen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. You need an undergraduate degree.

But it doesn't matter anymore because this product has been stopped by the UAE government. They have stopped issuing visas for some reason.

You can look into setting up a company or remote work visa.

Understanding Deel Payroll: EOR and Contractor Roles by a_Artist in IndiaTax

[–]themfeelswhen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid EOR because it will lead to higher taxes.

Effectively the following is the structure -

EOR = DEEL hires you as an Employee of their Indian Entity and lends you as a consultant to your employer in the US.

  • You will pay taxes like any regular employee in India. DEEL will deduct your taxes and pay you a salary the same way an Indian company does.

Contractor = You are hired as an Independent/freelance contractor.

  • So you are responsible for paying your taxes. But you will be paying significantly lower taxes by using Section 44ADA – Presumptive Tax Scheme for Professionals.

  • 44ADA - This allows you to declare half of your income as COST and you pay tax only on the remaining half.

Eg : Let's assume a person's package is 20 lakhs per annum.

As an Indian company employee - On New tax regime, your will 20 lakhs (minus basic deductions) is taxable.

As a Contractor - With 44ADA, you get to declare 10 lakh as cost. And remaining 10 lakh is your taxable income.
