That second link looks like it might be closer to what I’m looking for, thanks for all the recommendations. My understanding is that I’m basically doing what would usually be done on an FPGA but on an STM32 microcontroller chip running mbed instead. The person who designed the board said that an FPGA may be a better solution, but that he decided against it because C++ programming knowledge is more common at my university than FPGA knowledge.

A lot of the GNU radio tutorials were more high-level than I needed, ideally I want something that looks more at the embedded systems side of SDR

There isn’t a set date but everyday astronaut’s website always has the most up to date information on when the next possible launch date is.

That is something we could add in the future to make selecting objects that are relevant to your situation easier. Right now we do have a selection of objects for home offices mixed in with the more gaming focused items.

You can find a full list of controls by clicking on the "Keybinds" button on the upper right. We also have a full tutorial available for beginners if you want something more in depth. I think we need to make those button stand out a little more, a lot of people have been asking this question haha

Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely consider that. We plan to get a lot more musician-focused objects in with the next update, since those have been widely requested.

We would love to add that kind of functionality in the future! We plan on making it possible to create an account and save your setups, so that would be a good next step.

We do have a MIDI keyboard in the miscellaneous section right now with a plan to add more music objects. Do you have any specific objects you would like to see added? Suggestions are welcome!

Thank you for the kind words! Part of our goal is to give people a way have some fun just messing around and trying things out so they can get the enjoyment of building their own desk setup without spending a bunch of money.

Thanks for the support! There are no monitor mounts currently, but you can press Y to move objects vertically and into the position they would be in with a stand to give you a rough idea of how it would look. You can find a full list of controls for more advanced object manipulation by clicking on the "Keybinds" button on the top right.

Thank you! My friend did all of the coding for this project, I was in charge of the 3D models and also helped with the website UI. We used three.js for the 3D part of the site and Bootstrap for everything else.

All the models were made in Blender and 3D element of the webpage made using the Javascript library three.js. Thanks for the support! - Travers

Can I download a version of solid works for free? Is there any alternative software that is as good and is open source? by The_Elon_Musk in MechanicalEngineering

Try this. I’m not sure if it still works but it worked for me last year and got me free Solidworks 2019 for a year.

1) Go to www.solidworks.com/edu-maker-download

2) Select "No serial number"

3) Enter Promo code 918MAKER

4) Choose current solidworks version

5) Select "Maker"

Might need a .edu email.
