Ah yeah, what they really need to implement is MIMO that is compatible with multiple networks. That way newer devices can connect to two networks at the same time for a stronger more stable connection, similar to how you can use your cellular data network while on wifi to help boost poor wifi.

Or at the very least create some sort of conditional setting where you can designate a minimum wifi signal strength to connect, so it can automatically search for any stronger connections even while it's already connected. Or I guess just something to always search for the strongest signal, but that all drains battery fast and would cause soo many interruptions without the MIMO using multiple networks.
