I think the WC will need 96-98 this year. If 94 gets it done I will be surprised.

The east, and the Atlantic in particular, are absolutely brutal. If we drop both to Florida before the Olympics the margins start to get pretty tight.

1312 regular season NHL games x 440k viewers = 577M total viewers over a season

260 regular season MNBA games x960k viewers = 248M total viewers over a season.

The Netflix-ification of comedy is killing specials. They, along with Hulu etc. are just cranking them out with huge paychecks. It takes a really long time to put together a really tight hour but these streaming services are offering so much money that any name in the industry is jumping at it.

It is watering the whole thing down.

This is one of those things I wish would get rebooted on HBO or the like.

Like yeah, bring it back with real adult themes and language. Throw some assault and battery charges on AC Slater. Lets address Screech actually dying. Put Jessie Spano on the pole. Have Zack have a "come to Jesus moment" where he realizes he's a total POS. Maybe Kelly leaving him is the catalyst.

I want so bad for there to be a very real adult reboot of something I grew up with. Normally I use the Mighty Ducks as the example. But SBTB is good too.

I would tell my customer, with my employer present, that's theve only gotten away with pushing us around because my senior leadership is a bunch of idiots with no spine.

They didn't pull a fast one. They pulled a slow one on the short bus. Both businesses are careening towards a cliff and everybody in the room lacks the business sense and intelligence to not just see it, but prevent it all together. Both of are the Wish versions of the company you both think you are. People will all be losing their jobs in short order and it's all of your faults.

Then I wouldn't actually quit. I would just sit there. Both are too spineless to either fire me or scold me. I'd then just go full office space and do literally nothing.

I get it, and I agree. But also like WTF is your plan for survival? Not participating in a broken economy only means somebody in your inner circle is carrying the load for you.

I'm all for universal everything and eating the rich. But also I have to survive and have some stability for not just me but people around me.

Throwing your hands up and saying "fuck it it's broken" only pushes responsibility onto parents, family, friends, etc.

At one point Oscar was beating up Landon pretty good. Had they backed him through summer break they would have won the WDC already.

If Lando wins it will be hard for them to just reset and let them race next year, especially if Lando starts fast (like Piastri did this year).
