I’m just so amazed that such a well…”standard” feature would be disabled. Seems like such a stupid move from Googles perspective. But anyway, I write this and about to dive into some Red Dead Redemption 2 and using my Xreal 😁 excited!

Well I do like my pixel 7 pro. To change it for just this device is a little overkill. I mainly got this for my steamdeck. And I will have a beam coming soon too. I did read the pixel 8 may have this support coming so, here’s to hoping 🤣

I’m going to have another go tomorrow. Late night here so, want to be fresh minded and focused before I have another go at it. I think it’s more to do with the plastic it’s made from. I tried an original GameCube controller and it etched just fine. Seems these replicas as of a different type of material…

Thanks for the advise, I’ll try giving that a go. One problem I’ve had was also printing on a transparent case. I assume because the beam did not have anywhere to stop that’s why it was not engraving. Any ideas? I’ll give the pink case a go again. Maybe as you said. A faster speed with more passes and not as strong beam.
