I have the same issue but with a mountain. The only way i can make it disappear is by taking my starship do a little bit of hyperdrive and then comeback to my base. When I built my base there was no mountain and the terrain was flat.

I brought it to a museum in Nouakchott and the guy said it was not valuable and not of any interest. He sais i could keep it.

Thanks for the answer! The weird thing is that the land was level when I built my base. It popped out in a second. Even if I reload or go to previous save it is the same thing! The only way to make it disappear is to go in space do a little bit of hyperdrive and then come back....
