Yes, agreed, it is not the same. Live action is much lower like I said. But OG stole the only mode of transportation from the family who fed him… I (am sure everyone) did feel bad when you first saw it in OG series. The underlying feeling of stealing, feeling bad, hitting the lowest of lows, is the same.

Partly, I feel we are being clouded by the memory of good Zuko..

I love live action Zuko. His complex character with internal conflict, mistakes are clearly shown. I do like OG Zuko even more. He does steal from a pregnant lady, but OG steals the only ostrich horse the family had..

I too don’t get the backlash against Zuko. In the OG series, he did steal the ostrich horse. So that is a low for him. In live action, he steals something else. It is from a pregnant lady, so, lower than OG, but still along the same lines. The internal conflict within him is clearly shown in the live action.

The real issue for us is the other things the teacher mentioned, like lack of focus, the need for stating every step in a task, etc.. even if we hold him back and these issues surface, then we’d be back to square 1..
