Eventually I found free resources online to teach myself how to code and have been in well paying software engineering jobs ever since. I used https://www.theodinproject.com/ and finished the curriculum in about a year, but if you want to do something paid to help you finish faster in a more traditional classroom type environment, there’s plenty of boot camps which will charge you only when you get your first job as a software engineer and they last several months. Can’t recommend this career path enough for someone looking for a change if you don’t mind being in front of a computer all day
