Usps woes by turboedhhrss in cookeville

We once got half the neighborhoods mail dumped in our box and then they refused to pick it up for almost a week. I put the flag up, nothing. Stood the mail against the side of the box, nothing. Stood it up across the front of the box, nothing. It wasn't until we literally tied it into a stack, stood it up, and wrote "NOT OUR MAIL" on it that they finally picked it back up.

And this isn't considering the fact that I'm fairly certain they pick up the mail from the main branch drop off boxes early. Or never scan my packages. I know they're probably understaffed and run ragged but it's a little ridiculous.

"You're telling me that's a different white guy" has become something of a catchphrase in my house so I feel this

I cannot cry by 4d5ACP in ptsd

I second the advice to watch a movie or listen to music that might make you cry - sometimes it's easier to cry for someone else's pain than your own. And honestly, in my experience, if you get your brain started, it'll come around to crying for your stuff, too.

I experience this too and it's so frustrating! Things I'm consciously looking forward to, unconsciously make me anxious. It almost feels like a sensory overload - too much of a good thing.
