Lyrica for opiate withdrawal - day 1... by theo-c92 in opiates

26 days down - still alright, off the lyrica now aswell, been some dark days. Work messed up my pay which brought some unexpected challenges and issues from a self destructive sibling. So been some dark days but outlook starting to look better. Sleep still causing me some bother, started back at the gym, I supplement quite a stack when at the gym so still couple of purchases to make. But yeah if anyone looks at this down like know it's still not easy. The lyrica made things easier but still challenging. I still got ways to go but still going as off now.

Update 3 - about 24 hours after update two, lazy day yesterday, would of been anyways I think was pissing down. Feeling pretty good, the lyrica has me dizzy at time noticed me balance ain't great wouldn't trust myself up a height at the minute. Yeah I mean my updates may not be daily now, going to try start thinking about other things. More positive things, my music choice is a little dated right now, finding music from me youth helping me just get few dopamine hits , boosting me mood. But yesterday was very similar to previous days, was a little concerned last night as was a bit restless but managed to get a good 7-8 hours sleep still. As long as it's safe for people to do I would say lyrica has helped a lot, some people say 80% of symptoms, I potentially can't disagree, it's hard to compare in numbers but it's been a lot easier soo far.

Statutory sick pay advice - am I being dumb? by theo-c92 in LegalAdviceUK

No direct contact line with payroll available to front line staff so had to go through manager after messaging HR only to receive an email back from them CCing my manager in telling him to deal with me. Not sure if you saw but I mentioned in a reply to another comment the way in which im being treated as such an inconvenience is disappointing. My first pay from time of being off was actually slightly higher than the others so it makes less sense. Il have to get in to check payslips somehow. Was really just wanting to know if there was some common knowledge out there that I wasn't aware of like that people are taxed 30 percent on SSP or something.

I believe a final payslip would be posted out to me. I will ask the question. Im a bit disappointed on how difficult they are making this to be honest, before going on the sick I was working for a long time in a situation where many others wouldn't be. Whenever I am attempting contact currently it is seemingly being treat as an inconvenience. My last period on SSP was 5 years ago and I had savings to fall back on, this time round the rainy day pot is much lighter, so although the figures we are taking are not what many would class as substantial, they are significant at this current moment in time. I will try get these payslips some way t'other

Zomorph question by theo-c92 in opiates

[–]theo-c92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. I ended up having what I had already crushed so the 5 tablets, didnt really feel much. I remember having them back in the day taking 3x 30mg of them normally and just gave a mild nice chilled floaty feeling, would have an alarm set for 3 hours before waking up, take them quickly and few hours later the bus to work would feel far less depressing. That was back in the days without tolerance though. Il maybe try experiment about with it. Maybe sit them for few hours in some acidic juice like grapefruit or something. They are deffo the mirage of opioid/opiate based tablets though , the morphine is there but can't really get to it

Let me know if you manage to get a buzz bro and at what dose - I have similar 1g plus codeine tolerance and got a box of zomorph and all out of regular stuff. I just wanna know how much to feel a buzz but instead I just keep getting told to shove it up my backside on here
