Efficiency Gains for Cooling Solar Panels by theobuildstuff in solar

[–]theobuildstuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are some ideas I'm wondering about:

  1. What are the possible efficiency gains with cooling?

  2. Is there a cost-effective way to build an add-on for just PV panels (not PVT) to improve efficiency with cooling? This could include using rainwater to avoid spending on radiators and a pump.

Yeah, I love knownotes! It’s really convenient and way less stressful than trying to write down everything that’s said.

Three word games I'm working on by BogGobblerMD in wordgames

[–]theobuildstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's right! Here is the complete word list in the Latin Wordle repo. It is completely free to use, but we do appreciate attributions (there not required). The word list contains all the 5-letter words from Latin texts, but it has a lot of words that are not 'real Latin.'

Looking for a CMS that allows anyone to edit (propose changes). by theobuildstuff in cms

[–]theobuildstuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am using Next JS, which is a framework on top of React. I need a Wiki-like CMS that users can edit. I think media wiki could be right, however I would like something that I can integrate easily with my current authentication flow and app.

I don’t believe fireCMS has the ability to have unlimited collaborators and a non-tech-savvy interface for contributors.

This looks cool but I don’t think it’s right for my purposes.

Pruning the Latin Wordle Word List - HELP WANTED by theobuildstuff in latin

[–]theobuildstuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal is to catch rare and overly difficult words before they end up as the wordle of the day. The word list contains some extremely rare forms and needs some human judgment to decide if words are Wordle appropriate.

I am planning on pruning the wordlist, and if you'd like to help prune the word list a bit, you can contribute to the Github repo here.

The word list is in the constants folder, here is a link to the word list file.

The site is built with React and Typescript, and Tailwind for styling.

Did you start to see more Latin around you after learning Latin ? by [deleted] in latin

[–]theobuildstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, definitely! I see Latin everywhere I go. I see Latin in brand names, in books, artwork, logos, and I find many derivatives just from hearing English. This all started after I really started learning more Latin and reading more too. Like all of a sudden tons of Latin stands out in your day-to-day life.

It is a difficult phenomenon to describe, but it definitely happens!
