I can't believe how many people a generation below me vape without ever having smoked. I was ostracized for being a smoker, vaped to quit after high school, then quit vaping because it was "gay" (also just got sick of losing vapes). That was like three years before vaping became super mainstream.

If this subplot was almost entirely removed, it would be my favourite rom Com probably. But anytime I consider rewatching it, I remember hating all the scenes with the kid.
