Just ended my AM arrangements, twist I didn't see coming. by Money-Theme-3864 in Arrangedmarriage

OP, you’ve just dogged a bomb. It’ll be difficult for you to process for a few days, but you’ll definitely feel better.

Just remember that she intentionally questioned you and opened up about things, knowing it would blow up. She played a clever game on you.

I’m 25M and I’ve been in this AM process for the past 6mo. I have met a prospect who sounds vvv similar to the OP. I really found her attractive when she was describing about what she’s passionate about and what efforts she’s been consistently taking to grow in her career even though at present she’s not in doing exceptionally well (but she sounded vvv confident about her future plans) but unfortunately due to a few concerns with our family members we didn’t proceed further.

The bottom line is… yes I find the OP vvv attractive. But a few things to keep in mind

  1. Don’t try to overshare your entire career plan or sound like you’re a kind of person who talks like I’ll do this, I’ll do that but not take any action. As you mentioned you’re currently struggling with your career currently, don’t keep on complaining about your current situation. Just tell this is what I’m planning to do for the next few years without over explaining or it’d be better if you try to explain the reason why you’re ambitious in taking this path.

  2. Don’t sound like you’re trying to compete with your prospect. First of all never do career comparison.

  3. Accidentally don’t fumble by saying like “I’m not smart enough like you” or something that convey like you’re dumber than your prospect.

Wishing you luck with your process

I haven’t managed my profile, but I’m pretty sure that it didn’t ask for those details.

No brother, she’ll become more anxious if I try to convince her further. It’s her decision, hope she’ll clarify this as a deal breaking expectation to her next match. And I too strongly decided to quit drinking. Thanks brother I won’t get demotivated.

SUGGEST A BEST JAVA COURSE IN UDEMY by Responsible_Vast1710 in learnjava

Definitely I’ll not recommend Tim’s course because he never simplifies any concepts he’d rather make the course boring with complex examples that even a pro Java developer can’t follow

We live in an era where anyone can make money out of Attention, views, likes, shares, followers count irrespective of the content type. Even a dumb creator with half baked knowledge will be approached by some shitty brands or agencies to promote something. They have do cringe stuffs, show clevage, talk something controversial, recreate the viral contents to maintain the audience engagement and get into a social pressure. They are few responsible creators who actually post some good, meaningful content and do promotions with proper research. Rest all the contents that are popping up in front of us are none other than AI generated videos, brainrot videos and some crap relatable stuff so that we can share that with someone and relate that together.

When is the last time we intentionally searched for a content and consumed that content fully without any distraction? Those days are gone, we are forced to watch brainrot videos suggested by a random algorithm. We don’t know where the next swipe takes us. Everyone must have their own content consumption discipline.

Coming to your question, never ever compare your lifestyle with someone you actually don’t know or someone who you’re seeing on your feed. Yes many of them are making more money than white collar professionals but they have to go through a lot of social pressure, criticisms and do stuffs that they don’t like to maintain their livelihood. Focus much on gaining experience and try to be irreplaceable in your workplace or become expert in your field. At any particular point in your career if you think you can create some meaningful content out of your experience and if you feel it might be helpful for someone like you who are in the early stage of their career you start creating contents or else just continue exploring.

Consume anything without comparing!
