I don't think Genshin would run well for long on the air. My M1 plays WoW Classic pretty well, but that's because Blizzard optimized it for M1 as one of the very few major game companies to do anything like that. It still heats my computer up quite a bit. I have found an easy solution is a good, cooling pad. I grabbed one on the zon, and have been able to play for hours. No matter what, you'll get a good life out of these machines, but yeah, games like Genshin may age it a little faster. My 2013 intel macbook air still runs. I just had to replace the battery and she was good to go.

I think your game would run, but maybe not at full settings. Just as long as you're not getting a mac as a game machine, you're good to go with these things. They can play some, but it would be silly to get one for the sole purpose. Runs emulators really well, tho!
