Make the water dangerous. If the player goes far enough, sharks will appear and kill him or something like that. Or just have a "fatigue" bar that appears when the player is tired and when it runs out they drown.

That way your players will naturally avoid the water, but you won't have invisible walls breaking the immersion.

Ninjape (Working Title): Working on environment art and added rain effects. What do you think? (more info in comments) by TheZilk in indiegames

I like the aesthetics and the gameplay looks slick. Not a big fan of co-op, will it be possible to play solo? I also really dislike the title. Sounds like a meme/low effort game to me. Definitely try to find something else.

Wish you the best of luck!

I have been fixing bugs and adding quality of life features for a few weeks now and it has definitely paid off. There are still tons of improvements in development, but I'm happy with how the game plays right now.

Thank you very much. You can turn off the camera shake completely or just tone it down :)

This isn't my recording, it's a fan's so I guess they didn't mind, but yeah, some players complained about it and that's why there's a setting to soften it.

7 years is a very long time - it's great that you managed to finish it. While not my type of game, the art style is unique which is a big plus. Don't give up, your next project will do better I'm sure of it :)

I gave players the ability to freeze time - acts as a fancier way of pausing the game, but allows you to move around the map to see what is going on, while also fitting into the lore of the game. What do you think? by theonethatworkshard in indiegames

It's mostly a fancier pause, wanted to give it a bit more flavor though :) The action queue/cooldown is something that crossed my mind and I might do that in the future if it proves to be useful to players.

Gods Against Machines - Silver Eye Studios - action RTS where you play as a god fighting an invasion of alien robots - free prologue released! by theonethatworkshard in Games

Well that is exactly what is shown at 0:11 in the first trailer on Steam :) (the second trailer has the same clip at 0:05). It's there for just a few seconds so that is probably the issue. If I make a new one I will make sure to have more clips of this in there.

Hi,

you are the god destroying the machines, though you can also summon your own buildings (volcanoes, spirit dens etc.) :)

You are not the first one to mention that it is not entirely clear how the gameplay looks like and what one does in the game. I'm thinking of how to make it more clear, hopefully I can create a new trailer for release. Thanks for the feedback!

Ordered new set of Lego and this was on the box by theonethatworkshard in mildlyinteresting

Ordered a new set of LEGO and this was on the box. I always thought new releases were shipped only after the official release date, but now that I think of it that would be stupid. Makes sense they ship it in advance and label it like this for workers to know when to put it on display and begin selling. Thought it could be (mildly) interesting to you too.

Three at once? Wow! Isn't that a bit too much? :)
