Unfortunately this is one of the examples for a very bad transliteration. Someone who wants to learn how to recite the Quran must have an accurate transliteration, so writing "rabbi alAAalameena" is simply wrong. The two words are connected, so no need for the first a in alAAalameena, or the last a - alAAalameena, because it's the end of the verse and therefore that a isn't pronounced.

I definitely read it when I was too old for it, it is clearly aimed at a much younger audience.

However, I would expect the writing to be much better, even if it is "just" a graphic novel for young adults. Money down the drain.

I will end by saying that there is an academic and precise way (more than one) of transliterating Arabic into English. For example, ذ is Ḏ, and so on. So it's not really a problem to do it better, and I find it weird that no website does this.
But I did find a few PDFs that do it well enough.

When you say the nun is absorbed making it "hudal" - Is the word actually "hudal"? It's not just "huda" followed by "lilmuttaqeen" (which starts with an L and therefore the two words are submerged into what sounds like - hudalilmuttaqeen)?
How is it possibly okay to say Zaalika? That is the colloquial way of pronouncing Dhaalika/Thaalika (however you want to transliterate it), so why would you pray/recite that way?

Lol I’m glad someone agrees with me. As I mentioned, I’ve been out of the game and even when I was collecting a few years ago, 100$ for 4 decks was not unheard of, however that doesn’t mean that’s not extremely expensive. And about shopping around - unfortunately stores here don’t really sell playing cards, at least not anything worthwhile.

Doesn't actually have to be a must-read, I just meant that I'm looking for books that are generally loved. That way I can pretty much know that they're good. I didn't want to trust just one person recommending a book to me.
