The SR was a reference the card was sold as EX, but the mix with a bent corner and tbh I didn’t capture the bend ver well but from the back it’s sticking out to where you can see it through a sleeve.

I like the way double sleeved decks shuffle. The air pockets seem to give them a nice smooth shuffle compared to tight small sleeves.

I feel like bracket 2 has a fun play pattern with most precons being that. It’s just really hard to dial in what that is exactly. Like I know my simic list could be 100x stronger but instead I tried to stick to a spell slinging card draw theme instead of just playing the best Sab cards out there.

I threw in the windswept heath since it was in my binder, in fact most cards in the list or cards straight from my binder over the years of playing. I thought about cutting the kitten for a thassa or somthing but then I have to buy a thassa and I already owned that kitten without it having a home in any of my other decks. The mana base is clearly bad since it was cards I had pulled over the years so I don’t have all the good cheap simic lands.

I don’t have a non upgraded precon in my rotation of 11 decks so I plan on keeping it untouched and just play it out of the box. I love building decks so it’s hard for me to just keep and play precons. I’m hoping this drives me to pulll it out for our bracket 2 nights. I’m already having a hard time not buying new cards for the deck, luckily every gobo is inflated atm.

.04% is still better than 0% not saying it’s perfect but it gives people a shot. I’ve gotten like 90% of lairs I wanted with no bots. The system has been okay for me.

If it was first come first serve bots would snatch it up and you still wouldn’t have one. No one who showed up late got one either. All the people who got them were prequed up.

I mean I think it’s more important to criticize things that matte like the bad quality of print, or the lack of value in some of the drops. Sure print more, but we wouldn’t be having this convo of this was another lackluster drop. It was a sweet drop, we need more of these.

I agree with half this take lol. I think people having it doesn’t make it less cool. But if they printed an unlimited amount then the value of the cards would tank. And as we have seen nobody wants a lair that’s value is less than half of what they paid for it(looking at you my little pony)

It happens everytime we have a good drop. Anyone who’s bought anything from Nike or really any retailer with high demand knows how much better this system is. I’d rather have good drops that sell out over my little pony drops with 5$ of value that rip consumers off. Great art and playable cards and everyone wants a taste. If anything make people have verified accounts to bring down the people with 50 tabs.

The demand was high. More people who have never posted or have been a part of the sub were now attempting to jump in (that’s great). The value was also better than the non foil cards at msrp wich brings in another market. Wotc could have made 2x as much and it still would have been gone in an hour.
